The Hospital of Hope is improving healthcare for rural Senegal

“Our patients range from babies at 11 months to elders at 85 years,” said Nathalie Cretin, M.D., medical director and founder of the Hospital of Hope. “We screen all patients for diabetes and hypertension, which are pervasive and generally undiagnosed. We have treated minor wounds, diarrhea, fever and respiratory infections, as well as chronic diseases like hypertension and diabetes.”
Since launching in mid 2011, the Hospital of Hope has served rural communities around Dakar. As word spreads, medical professionals are volunteering to be on our team. We work closely with local community leaders to provide services to many Senegalese who could never afford health care.

Please give to the Hospital of Hope and help children and adults live better lives.
